I'm looking for a point-and-shoot camera with tethered shooting. I want pictures taken to be auto sent to PC.?
I'm looking for a Point-and-Shoot camera with an "automatic file transfer" ability (“tethering”). When I click on the shutter button of the camera, I want the picture file to be automatically transferred to the computer's hard drive. (No intermediate step, just press shutter button and file transfers.)
I prefer the transfer done via a wired Usb Connection, but wireless is also acceptable. I'll also need the ability to customize the folder location on the computer the picture would be sent to.
If you're familiar with the Canon EOS Utility software for DSLR cameras, it does the same thing. But I'm trying to find a Point-and-Shoot equivalent. Thanks.

You should get an Eye-Fi SD card. It's a wireless enabled SD card that will automatically upload pictures over the wireless in your house to your computer. That way you can get whatever camera you want and still be able to transfer the images to the computer. They're not that expensive $50 for the 2Gb one. (It has internal storage too in case you're shooting away from your wi-fi.)
